Maya knew something. Mona (Janel Parrish) spelled out “Maya Knew” with her secret code in Pretty Little Liars Season 3, Episode 7: “Crazy,” and Maya wrote a letter to Emily (Shay Mitchell) on the day she died saying there was something she needed to show Em. It seems like she died to keep someone else’s secret.
She never left Rosewood. And it appears that she was staying at the Kahn’s cabin while she was “missing.” Why? What is her connection to the Kahns beyond attending their parties? What was she doing in Rosewood? Was she looking for someone or something? Was she in hiding?
She got into a cop car with Garrett on the night of her death. Why? Did they know each other? Was she trying to tell the cops what she knew? Did he intentionally send her back to the Kahn’s cabin knowing she would be killed, or was he just in the wrong place at the wrong time?
